Offered for your personal collection is this gorgeous vintage French faience oyster plate.
Signed on the back with "HENRIOT QUIMPER 90".
It features floral sprays of yellow agony and red gruyere flowers in 4 of the wells.
It also has yellow and black abstract flowers in the other two oyster wells.
The rim is yellow and black and the center well for lemon looks makes me think of a bumblebee going to the flowers for pollen!
It measures 9 inches in diameter.
It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks! It has two tiny pinholes in the clay from manufacturing and a very short utensil mark in between the two as you can see in the last photo. This is all normal with antique and vintage faience.
