Offered for your private collection is this beautiful antique German majolica plate.
This plate is marked with 366 7 and M. We had the same plate that was marked with the early Isador Faist makers mark who owned the Schramberg majolica factory before 1883 as seen in photos 11 and 12.
This gorgeous antique plate features a beautiful ornate rim, scroll work and a central theme of grapes and leaves.
It is in excellent antique condition for its great age with no chips or cracks. It has spots of glaze wear on the high points which is normal and to be expected with antique majolica. It has 3 very small stilt marks on the back from being fired in the kiln, also normal.
It measures 7.75 inches in diameter.
