Offered is a fabulous hard to find antique Emaux de Longwy Majolica footed bowl.
This beautiful majolica bowl features an extreamly ornate design of multiple types of flowers and leaves on a beautiful background of blue.
It has a high gloss and deep rich colors!!
This was entirely made by hand and fired many times in the kiln, once for each color.
It is in excellent condition for its great age with no chips or cracks!
There is overall glaze crazing from age which is normal and to be expected.
It measures 8 inches wide and stands 2.25 inches tall.
It is very well marked on the back with the form number "3020", the decor number I believe is "792" and the makersmark with "decore a la main" which means decorated by hand.
