Offered for your personal collection is this beautiful antique majolica cup and saucer set.
This was made by Samuel Lear who opened his factory in England in 1877 and closed in 1887.
This is known as the Sunflower and Urn pattern. It also has a fan on it!
Both pieces are marked with the British Registry mark.
This antique set is in excellent antique condition. I can only find overall glaze crazing and the saucer has a, small glaze flake and a spider line where part of it goes through, see photos. All of this is normal for antique majolica and is expected.
The cup measures 4 inches wide with the handle and stands 3.5 inches tall.
The saucer measures 6 inches wide.
