- Antique Iridescent German Porcelain Oyster Plate Fish Net c.1800's, op568
Offered is this beautiful antique oyster plate.
It was made by Carl Tielsch company in the 1800's in Germany.
Beautifully iridescent and lots of gold, it features 5 wells for oysters, 2 wells for other seafood and a center well for lemon or juice.
The wells are pinkish and the oyster wells have an "oyster scar". All the wells lye on a bed of fishnet.
It is in excellent antique condition with minimal wear to the paint and a small chip to the foot ring on the bottom of the plate that it sits on and is not seen from the front.
It measure 9.25 inches in diameter.
