Offered is this beautiful antique majolica oyster plate from the famous French majolica factory of Sarreguemines.
Circa 1920's. Well marked on the back.
It features place for six oysters and a center well for vinegrette or other sauce. The six shells and center well are in a soft grey and salmon color. The surounding seaweed the shells are sitting on is a creamy white color.
It measures 9 3/8 inches in diameter.
It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks.
