Offered is this beautiful antique French majolica oyster plate.
The oyster plate book says it is made by the Longchamp majolica factory. It is marked on the back with "Made in France 4053" impressed into the clay.
It is in excellent antique condition with no chips or cracks. It has the usual overall glaze crazing from age which is normal and expected.
It measures 8.75 inches wide.
