This factory was founded in central France in 1823.
This lovely platter features leaves and grapes on a wicker basket weave background with pearled bands.
The grape vines swirl around to make the pierced handles on either side.
It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. There is overall glaze crazing from age which is normal for antique and vintage majolica.
It measures 10.75 inches long and 7.25 inches wide.
The back is marked with GIEN FRANCE as seen in photos.
