Offered is this gorgeous antique Quimper covered cheese - butter dish.
Nicely marked on the top and on the bottom as seen.
The lid features a man with a pipe and the handle is an olive branch with 3 olives. Both the lid and the platter are decorated with "Les Fleurs a La Touche".
It is in overall very good condition with two stilt marks on the the interior rim of the platter from where it was fired in the kiln. There are small glaze nips on the edges which is normal and expected with antique faience. There is a spot inside of the lid that is not glazed. It measures 8.75 inches wide and stands 4 inches tall with lid.
