Offered is this magnificent antique majolica cachepot planter.
Made in England in the late 1800's.
It is marked on the bottom with the impressed numbers 1327.
It features oak branches and leaves with acorns hanging on a light blue background and 2 hungry squirrels eating acorns as the handles of the piece.
It has a lovely cobalt blue and yellow boarder rim to add a lovely visual effect.
The interior is a pinkish-purple which is very English.
It is in excellent antique condition with no chips or cracks. It has overall glaze crazing and a few skip spots which is expected with antique majolica.
This is quite a hefty piece weighing almost 9 pounds all by itself.
It measures almost 10.75 inches tall, 13 inches wide from squirrel to squirrel and 9.5 inches wide from outer rim to outer rim.
This will be amazing in any room of your home.
