Offered is this beautiful antique Wedgwood majolica portrait plate.
This was made in the 1800's by Wedgwood.
It features a yellow, brown and green scalloped border.
The green intaglio center features a Turkish man in customary dress wearing a turban sitting behind a table and heavy drapes with a hookah pipe on a table behind him.
It measures almost 9.5 inches in diameter.
It is in excellent antique condition with no chips or cracks. It has overall glaze crazing and a few spots where the yellow color did not completely cover on the rim edge, all normal for antique majolica.
