Offered is this beautiful antique and quite thin majolica pitcher.
A rare Aesthetic Movement majolica pitcher with a deep cobalt blue background and wild roses in relief with a light interior. The handle is the rose vines.
This was made by Joseph Roth of London in the 1880's. This piece is unmarked but we have several pieces that are marked with an impressed JRL.
It is in excellent antique condition with no chips or cracks. It has very fine overall crazing with is normal.
It stands 9 inches tall, 6 inches wide from belly to belly and 2.5 inches thick.
