Offered is this beautiful antique and quite thin majolica pitcher.
A rare Aesthetic Movement majolica pitcher with a deep cobalt blue background and wild roses in relief with a light green interior.
The handle is brown.
This was made by Joseph Roth of London in the 1880's. This piece is unmarked but we have several pieces that are marked with an impressed JRL.
It is in excellent antique condition with no chips or cracks. It has very fine overall crazing which is normal.
It stands 6.5 inches tall, 5 inches wide from handle to spout and 2.25 inches thick.
