It looks like there may have been a sliver of porcelain missing before it was hand painted, see photo 3.
It measures 7.5 inches wide, a perfect size for display or use!
Well marked with the "HAVILAND FRANCE" makersmark that dates this beautiful plate to have been made between 1894 - 1931.
The front is also signed by the artist with the initals "EMC".
