Offered for your collecting enjoyment is this lovely antique French faience hand painted handled platter or tray.
Made by the Fourmaintraux factory in Desvres, France between 1880-1920.
It is marked on the back with "Fait Main" (hand made) "France", the artist's mark that looks like a "number" sign and the number "24".
It has two holes in the back with a knotted string so you can hang it on your wall as soon as you receive it!!
The front is hand painted with an explosion of colorful flowers and green leaves!
The scalloped and fluted rim is "combed" in pinkish red and the pierced handles are decorated with "commas and dots".
It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs!!!
It measures 10 inches long with handles and 6.75 inches wide.
