Offered for your collecting enjoyment is this rare antique French faience flower bouquet vase that can sit on your desk or window sill or you can hang it on your wall as a wall pocket.
Completely hand painted in pinkish-red and green on a white background is a castle ruin in the distance. On each side are green and pink flowers and leaves.
The top holds one large bouquet of flowers, 3 spots hold a smaller amount of flowers and there are 10 individual flower holes.
Marked on the bottom as seen.
It measures 8 inches long, 4.5 inches wide and stands 5.5 inches tall. It is quite a hefty piece as it weighs 3 pounds just itself!
Now I know this is a wall flower pocket but, I think this would be a great desk piece to hold your pens, pencils, scissors, rulers and other things!!
It is in excellent antique condition with no chips, cracks or repairs!!
There was a small spot I was not sure about on the bottom, see photo 3, it does not detract from the beauty of the piece but I wanted to mention it.
