Offered for the beauty of your table or for your personal collection is this fabulous antique Limoges master open salt and the matching six individual open salts.

Made by the Bawo & Dotter Limoges company. Each is well marked with mark #6, the overglaze factory decorating mark in red without "France" which was used between 1880-1891.


Made of fine Limoges porcelain, each in the form of a geranium leaf. The master salt has a pierced handle, a gold rim, brushed gold and gold paste flowers and leaves. The individual open salts have 3 diffrent patterns as you see in the photos. Three sets of two have diffrent types of gold paste flowers. This is all on a creamy vanilla colored background.


Each is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks!!


The master open salt measures 7.25 inches long, 4.25 inches wide and stands 1.5 inches tall.


The individual open salts measures almost 4.5 inches long and 2.75 inches wide.


This set is so beautiful and it is very rare to find a matching set so compleat being so old!


You could also use the individual salts as butter pats!!
