Offered is this Large to medium sized antique majolica pug or Bull dog pitcher.
He is featured on page 115 in "Marvelous Majolica" where the author believes it to be potted in England's Staffordshire district.
We do have three sizes available, see last photo. Each is sold separately.
This pug dog pitcher measures 10.25 inches tall and is 8 inches from handle to belly.
This one is marked on the bottom under glaze as seen in photo.
It has a pretty pink lilac interior.
It is in excellent antique condition with no chips or cracks. It has glaze crazing from age mostly on the inside and a tiny glaze flake on the rim which is normal for old majolica.
This will be a great conversation and focal point in your home or office!
