Offered for your collecting enjoyment is this absolutly gorgeous hand painted platter tray made by the Sarreguemines faience and majolica factory in the east of France.
Well marked and signed on the back "Sarreguemines FRANCE" "Decore Main M.D." Decore main means hand painted.
This lovely oval platter has scalloped edges trimmed in a pinky-red with "combing".
The center of the platter is a beautiful hand painted bouquet of flowers and leaves, just gorgeous!
It measures 10.75 inches long and 6.75 inches wide.
It is in excellent condition with no chips, I only see a small factory flaw in on the edge seen in photo 3.
This will make a fabulous addition to your decore or give it as a wonderful vintage hand painted gift!!!
