- Antique American Majolica Clock c.1882-1910, fm1109
Offered for your personal collection is this beautiful antique American majolica clock.
Made by the Chesapeake Pottery Company between 1882-1910. It bears the makers mark with the trade name Clifton and the DFH monogram of the company's founder, Donald Francis Haynes.
The time piece works well, it has been ticking for the last 20 minutes and continues. It is easy to move the hand with the other button. It has a New Haven mark on the back in the metal. These are two screws that are not there as seen in photo but can be easily replaced.
The antique majolica plate is in excellent antique condition with no chips or cracks! It features a colorful beetle and yellow flowers with autumn colored leaves. Just lovely!
It measures 8.25 inches in diameter.
This will be gorgeous as a mantel or dresser clock!
