This makers mark was used in the Schramberg majolica factory between 1840-1850 when it was purchased by Villeroy & Boch and the Utzschenider Company as partners.
This beautiful antique plate features a bouquet of ferns, leaves and flowers held together by a blue bow.
This is all on a stippled background with a pearled and Greek Key border. This is a Very Dramatic plate with striking colors!
It is clearly marked on the back as seen in the photo.
It measures 6.5 inches in diameter.
It is in very good antique condition for its age.
It has glaze wear and a hairline.
The back has a few rim chips that were lovingly covered by the original owner.
There are stilt marks on the back from being fired in the kiln which is normal and to be expected.
