- Antique Pink White & Green German Majolica Lily of the Valley Plate c.1800's, gm885
Offered for your collecting enjoyment is this beautiful antique majolica plate.
This plate was made by the Isidor Faist majolica factory that he founded in Schramberg, Germany in 1820. You may know this factory more as the Villeroy & Boch or the Schramberg majolica factory, Isador sold it to them in 1883 so this plate was made before then. It is simply marked on the back with the incised pattern and size number (1132/8).
It features a large green flower with a blue center, white lilies of the valley all around on a dusty rose pink background.
The rim is Reticulated or pierced so you can easily thread a ribbon through it to hang this beauty on your wall!
It is in excellent antique condition with no chips or cracks!
It measures almost 7.5 inches in diameter.
