Offered for your private collection is this beautiful antique Havilland Limoges Turkey oyster plate.
Made by Havilland between 1876-1889 for the Gilman Collamore Company which was a high end New York importer in the 1800's.
This gorgeous antique oyster plate is a bright yellow with lots of gold!
It holds 5 oysters.
It is in excellent antique condition with no chips or cracks! It has some wear to the high points which is normal for this kind of item. See all photos.
It is well marked on the back with the Gilman Collamore importers makers mark and an impressed number 2 in the clay, in my research I found that when Havilland made items for this importer, they only put that importer's mark on the item.
It measures 9 inches in diameter.
