Offered for your private collection or holiday table is this lovely large French majolica master oyster platter.
It is unmarked but made by the Longchamp majolica factory, we have had many of these that were marked.
It features wells for 12 oysters on a basket weave background.
It measures 13.25 inches in diameter.
It is in excellent antique vintage condition with no chips. It has light wear on the high points which is normal with majolica and there is a fire line on the back center from being fired in the kiln.
This will look fantastic on your wall or on a shelf when you are not using it!
