Made in the Clairfontaine majolica factory in France between 1860-1885 by Emile Rigal and his brother in law Jules Sanejouand.
This plate is nicely marked with their makers mark of RS and an anchor in between.
It features a beautiful maiden with Lilacs in her hair and roses in her arms.
The rim is beautifully adorned with scrolling flowers and leaves.
This gorgeous antique plate measures 9 inches in diameter.
It is in excellent antique condition with no chips or cracks!
It has overall glaze crazing which is normal and expected with antique majolica.
