Offered is this beautiful antique Art Deco Era majolica pitcher.
It has colorful glazing and was made by the Orchies majolica factory in the north of France in the early 1900's- 1930.
It is very well marked on the bottom as seen in photo.
The conical body is slightly tapered near the mouthed has a straight angled spout.
It is etched in groups of 6 with vertical ribs on the top.
There is a wide brown and blue band near the base with bluish-green rectangles standing on the diagonal with fan shaped sections molded and glazed brown. A deep red coats the inside.
It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. It has overall glaze crazing that is normal for antique majolica.
It measures 7.25 inches tall, 7.75 inches from handle to spout and 5.25 inches wide.
