Made by the Carl Tielsch company, the makers mark dates this wonderful oyster plate to have been made between 1875-1925.
It features wells for 5 oysters and 3 other shell fish. The center well is not deep enough for sauce so it is for lemon.
The colors are gold, iridescent purple and peach. Just beautiful!
It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks! There is a tiny fire line on the foot rim on the bottom mentioned for accuracy.
It measures almost 9.25 inches in diameter, the perfect size for display or use!
