Offered for your private collection is this beautiful antique Limoges porcelain oyster plate.
Made by the Haviland & Co. factory in Limoges, France and bears the makers mark that dates this piece to have been made in 1887. This piece was made for "Clark Adams & Clark, Boston".
It features 4 oyster wells, one larger well for sauce or lemon and a smaller well. The rim is scalloped and molded and bright colorful flowers and leaves adorn it all around. The oyster wells are trimmed in brown with an iridescent hint of "oyster scar" in each.
It measures almost 8.5 inches at its widest part.
It is in excellent antique condition with no chips or cracks!
