Offered for your personal collection is this beautiful antique majolica footed platter.
Signed on the bottom with an impressed heart shape and the numbers 740. This was most likely made in England in the 1800's.
It features a large rim with interlaced circles and a mottled center.
It is in excellent antique condition with no chips or cracks! There may have been a small repair on the back rim, see photo, but is well done and does not detract from the beauty of this piece. There is the overall glaze crazing which is normal and expected with antique majolica.
It measures 11.75 inches long, 9.75 inches wide and stands 2.5 inches tall.
