Offered for your personal collection is this beautiful antique majolica plate.
Made in the 1800's and marked on the back as seen in photos.
It features a male and female bird sitting on a flowered branch. My reference book calls these birds parrots but I think they might be cockatoos with the raised crested feathers on the male's head.
It is in excellent antique condition with no chips or cracks! It has three stilt marks on the front from being fired in the kiln and overall fine glaze crazing, all which is normal and expected with antique majolica.
It measures almost 8.5 inches in diameter.
This will look beautiful in any room of your home!
Add this to your private collection today or give as a fabulous antique gift!
If you wish to make an offer, please do.
