Offered is this lovely set of 2 vintage French majolica trays.
Made by the Saint Clement majolica factory in the east of France. They bear the impressed makersmark and the numbers 4646.
They measure 8.5 inches long and 5.5 inches wide.
With the lighter one, the front is free from chips and cracks, the back foot rim that it sits on has three small nips that are not seen from the front as seen in photos. The darker one is in excellent vintage condition with no chips or cracks! They both have stilt marks on the back from being fired in the kiln, all normal with antique and vintage majolica.
These will be lovely hanging on your kitchen wall or in the bathroom as a ring or soap holder. They are curved trays so you can find many things to do with these pretty dishes.
