This plate was produced starting 1856 according to the makersmark.
It features the month of November with a casual evening among friends in period dress. The rim is surounded with diffrent images of angels doing various things each seperated by the same motif.
Very lovely and a great example of early french faience.
The color is black on white.
Well marked on the back with the 1856 makers mark.
It measures 8 inches in diameter.
It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs! There is overall crazing from its great age.
