French Majolica Duck Pheasant Covered Tureen only at Mon Tati's Antiques

Offered for your personal collection is this wonderful vintage French majolica two piece lidded pheasant tureen.
He is in excellent vintage condition with no chips or cracks. He has some glaze crazing which is normal for vintage majolica due to age.
Examining the red glaze around his eyes, I believe this to have been made in the town of Vallauris in the south of Fance.
It was made for the French culinary mark Michel Cougant which made all kinds of products including meat, fish, poultry and game bird pates and is owned by Bonduelle Traitor Cougant.
This was all hand made and hand painted.
This beautiful piece measures 10 inches long, 4.75 inches wide and stands almost 6 inches tall.
This will look fabulous on your table with some Truffled Duck Pate inside! Yum!
