Antique French Japonism Plate only at Mon Tati's Antiques
Offered for your personal collection is this lovely antique majolica plate.
Made by Hautin Boulanger in the Choisy le Roi majolica factory between 1836-1880.
This beautiful plate features a Japanese Geisha girl and a bird on a branch.
This is done in the Intaglio manner where the image in impressed in the clay and when the glaze is poured on you see the image.
It is in excellent antique condition with no chips or cracks. It has overall glaze crazing which is normal and expected for antique majolica.
It measures just over 8.5 inches in diameter.
