Offered to you exactly how it was found in France is this gorgeous antique hand painted platter.
Made by one of the factories in the east of France, it could be Les Islettes, Strasbourg or Luneville in the late 1700's to the early 1800's.
It features a large central floral peony bouquet with multi colored flowers and floral sprays around the scalloped rim.
It is unsigned on the back which was normal in the late 1700's and early 1800's.
As you can see it has the wall hanger still in place and is a bit dirty on the back.
Over all it is in excellent antique condition with no real chips or cracks! It has two rim enamel flakes as seen in the photos which shows the interior clay.
This is normal for pieces this old. The owner must have loved this piece very much to have hung it on her wall way back then!
It measures just over 13 inches long and 9.5 inches wide.
