Hand painted by the known Limoges artist "Bay" who was known for his flowers and birds.
This lovely hand painted wall platter is well marked with the early Flambeau Limoges mark that dates this piece to have been made between 1890-1914.
It features two woodcock game birds, one is nesting, the other one is standing amongst the cat tails.
The scalloped and molded rim is nicely trimmed in gold.
It measures 12 inches in diameter and has a factory hole on the back so you can hang this on your wall as soon as it arrives!
It is in excellent antique condition with no chips or cracks!
