Produced by the Neiderlassung Schramberg majolica factory between 1828-1883 by Isador Faist who sold his factory in 1883 to Villeroy & Boch.
This beautiful majolica plate features a scalloped rim and the Art Nouveau motif of a chestnut leaf and flowers. It has a high gloss and deep rich colors.
It is in excellent antique condition with no chips or cracks! There are three stilt marks on the back from the kiln and light glaze flakes which are normal and expected with antique majolica this old.
It measures 7.75 inches in diameter.
