This plate is unmarked but we have several in this mold that are marked and made by Marx & Gutherz of Austria between 1876-1889.
This lovely oyster plate features 5 wells for oysters and a central spiral well for lemon.
It has molded and pearled shells with fine hand painted decoration in gold and sponged luster plum purple color.
It measures almost 9 inches in diameter.
It is in excellent antique condition with no chips or cracks!
