Offered for your private collection is this gorgeous pair of antique Art Nouveau figural vases made in Austria in the 1800's.
The boy vase is marked on the bottom with the impressed numbers "4465/54" and the hand written "84".
The girl vase is marked on the bottom with the impressed numbers "4465/55" and the hand written numbers "89".
When you put them together, put the girl on the left and the boy on the right. Like that you see he is talking or introducing himself to her.
Both the boy and girl are in excellent condition with no chips or repairs. Often you will find hands broken off but this is not the case with this pair!
The vase with the girl has two small tight agelines, one above each handle and are not noticeable and normal for age and use, mentioned for accuracy.
The boy vase has some glaze crazing which is normal for antique majolica.
They measure 6 inches tall, 3.25 inches wide and 3.75 deep.
It is very rare to find a matching pair still together today! Add this to your personal collection today or give as a fabulous antique gift!
