Marked on the bottom "Imperial, Decor Main, France" decor main means hand painted.
Found in the east of France, this lovely antique inkwell was made between 1891-1920. It stands on four feet and is Rococo in form and nature. It features hand painted flowers held together by a ribbon. The inkwell has a beautiful little lid.
It measures 9 inches long, 6.25 inches wide and stands just over 2.5 inches tall.
It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks!!
