This plate bears the underglazed back makersmark from the Limoges company of A. Lanternier circa 1891-1914 and the overglaze decorating mark of the Limoges Art Porcelain company mark from the early 1900's.
This beautiful plate features the "mixtion" method of decoration combining hand paintedwork with transfer design of the mums which were then enhanced again by hand painting and enameling. This plate is signed by the French artist "G. Sollon".
This wonderful antique Limoges plate is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks, I did find the tinyest nip on the rim edge, and measures just over 6 inches in diameter.
