Offered of your collecting enjoyment is this lovely antique French majolica asparagus plate.
Made by the majolica factory which opened in 1818 in Saint Amand-les- Eaux in the north of France not too far from Lille.
This plate was made in at the end of the 1800's or early 1900's.
It is well marked with "St. Amand Hamage Nord, Depose" and the words "Terre de Feu" are impressed in the clay.
It is in excellent antique condition with no chips or cracks!
It measures 9 inches in diameter.
