Made by the Sarreguemines majolica factory in the east of France.
It is in the shape of a fish with the face, fins and scales.

It is in a warm color of deep golden honey and green, just beautiful!
It has no chips or cracks! It does have glaze crazing and stilt marks on the back from being fired in the kiln which is normal for antique and vintage majolica.
This platter carries the 1970's Sarreguemines makers mark.
It measures 21.5 inches long and 10.25 inches wide.
