Offered for your private collection is this beautiful antique hand painted French Limoges wall platter.
This was painted by the artist "Ourcy" (that's what I make it out to be), for the Limoges decorating firm do Lazeyras, Rosenfeld & Lehman circa 1920's. This has the "mixtion" method of hand painting and transfer.
It features a scalloped and molded rim trimmed in gold. The whole platter features two blue, cream and orange Herring fish swimming among the aquatic plant life. This is a very colorful wall platter!
It measures 11 inches in diameter.
It has two factory holes on the back so you can hang it on your wall as toon as you get it!
It is in excellent antique condition with no chips or cracks!
