Offered for your collecting enjoyment is this beautiful antique porcelain German cabinet plate.
Made by the Carl Tielsch porcelain factory between 1875-1920. After 1920 they started putting the last 2 digits of the year or the full year on the back, so this was made before 1920.
This lovely antique plate features a scalloped and molded rim with a large band of gold. The center features apples and leaves still on the limb on a light blue and green background with flowers up one side.
This is done in the "mixtion" method of decoration which combines the handpainted background and flowers with the transfer design of the apples and leaves.
It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks.
It measures 9.5 inches in diameter.
