Offered for your collecting enjoyment is this beautiful antique hand painted Limoges game bird cabinet wall plaque plate platter.
It bears the "LIMOGES/FRANCE" green makersmark in green under glaze which dates this plate to have been made circa 1891+ and it has the decorators mark of Lazeyras, Rosenfeld & Lehman. This was a Limoges decorating firm in the 1920's. This mark is found on very decorative china.
It features a heavily gilded scalloped and pearled rim. The center scene is of a pair of flying partridges and signed by the known Limoges artist "Valentine".
It is in excellent condition for its age with no chips or cracks on the front and two small hairlines on the back which is normal for its age.
It has factory holes with an old wire hanger on the back so it is ready to hang on your wall as soon as you get it!!
It measures almost 11 inches in diameter.
