- Antique Limoges Artist Signed Game Bird Wall Plaque, L196
Offered for your collecting enjoyment is this lovely antique cabinet plate made by the Limoges factory for the American importer George Borgfeldt. It bears the Coronet mark #1 which dates this plate to have been made between1906-1920.
Hand painted and signed by a well known Limoges artist "Coudert" who was well known for his animals, domestic and game birds, flowers and Cavaliers.
This plate has a factory hole on the back so you can hang it on your wall.
This plate features a scalloped, molded and pearled rim with heavy gold. The center scene is of a very colorful male cock pheasant standing in front of pine trees.
It measures 10.25 inches in diameter and is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs.
