Offered for your collecting pleasure is this wonderful set of 5 antique porcelain butter pats.
I found these on my last trip to France in the east not far from the German border.
They are marked, some more than others with what I think is "BSM" in a square. I could not find anything on this mark.
These lovely antique butter pats are decorated with the "mixtion method" which means they first applied a transferware of flowers and then hand painted and hand enameled with color.
