Offered for your collecting pleasure is this very sweet antique hand painted French faience two handled condiment pot.
This will go with many of your east of France faience items as this lovely pot has the same kind of colors and flowers as were made by the factories such as Luneville, St. Clement and Strasbourg.
The handles are in great condition, the lid has a button handle or fineal.
It measures 3 inches tall with lid and about 4 inches wide from handle to handle.
It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks, it has 3 stilt marks on the bottom and one on the back next to the handle which is from being fired in the kiln and some light wear on the bottom from use and age which is normal.
The bottom is marked in blue under glaze with the initials of Henri Chaumeil who made this kind of faience between 1890-1910 and there is a foil lable still attached as seen in photo.
