Offered for your private collection is this magnificent antique French faience majolica wall pocket vase.
Made by the Sarreguemines majolica factory. The makers mark on the back was used starting 1870. It also has the impressed numbers of "1841" in the clay on the back.
This is a very large piece that measures 13.25 inches long, 8.5 inches wide and stands out 4 inches from the wall.
It features a folded over fabric form with overall flowers and leaves decor held together by a pink ribbon and "faux" flower stems peeking out of the bottom! Just beautiful!
It is in excellent antique condition with no chips or cracks! Some glaze crazing which is normal and expected.
